Implenia Norge AS, Stangeland Maskin and Sweco are building a new route for the E39 coastal trunk road on the 11-kilometer stretch between east and west Lyngdal to improve traffic safety and reduce travel times along the coast. Among other things, the European road will be expanded with two tunnels, seven major and minor bridges, two highway junctions and complex infrastructure.
To ensure accommodation and good rest for the road builders, Stord Innkvartering has provided "Camp Lyngdal". The camp, which is conveniently located just outside the center of Lyngdal, consists of 220 modern rooms and a great canteen that serves breakfast and dinner throughout the construction period.
